Who We Are
Australian Integrated Carbon, AiCarbon, was established with one purpose: to help Australian agricultural landholders benefit from the carbon farming opportunities that their land provides.
We are a team of experienced ecologists, spatial analysts, financial modellers, and agricultural specialists who understand both the science and the business of carbon farming. We have worked across sheep and cattle properties, broadacre cropping land, and pastoral stations across many of Australia’s agricultural regions.
With more than 35 registered carbon projects to our name, we have built the kind of track record that comes from doing the work properly. We don’t promise easy wins. We provide honest assessments, transparent financial modelling, and the expertise to follow through.
What Makes Us Different
We don't just develop projects. We manage the revenue.
Many carbon developers register your project and hand you a fixed price or a lump sum. AiCarbon takes a different approach. Because we hold an Australian Financial Services Licence, we are authorised to actively market and sell the Australian Carbon Credit Units (ACCUs) that your project generates. That means we go into the market to find the best available price, and we share those returns with you. Over the life of a 25-year project, that difference in approach can be significant.
Your farm comes first.
Carbon farming works best when it complements your primary production, not when it competes with it. We build every project plan around your farming operation. Our management plans are developed in consultation with you and are designed to allow your enterprise to keep doing what it does, while also building a carbon revenue stream over time.
Complete transparency, from day one.
We provide detailed, property-specific financial modelling before you sign anything. We won’t tell you what you want to hear. We will tell you what your land can realistically produce, what the compliance requirements involve, and what it will take to get there. We believe that the best partnerships are built on honesty.
A genuine long-term commitment.
Carbon projects are long-term arrangements, usually 25 years. We treat them that way. The same team that assesses your property is involved in registering and monitoring it. We don’t sign you up and move on. We stay involved throughout the life of your project because our returns are tied to yours.
